This Privacy Policy explains how FLOSYS collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our SMS / text messaging program for customers and prospective customers of FLOSYS and the small businesses we serve (including construction and trades businesses).

Information we collect

When you interact with our SMS program or related services, we may collect:

Mobile phone number
Name and business name (if you provide them)
Message content you send to us (including opt-in / opt-out keywords)
Consent records (when and how you opted in)
Basic delivery / engagement metadata (for example, message timestamps and delivery status)

How we use your information

We use this information to:

Send SMS messages you consented to receive (for example: missed-call follow-up, appointment reminders, booking confirmations, customer-care updates, and related service notifications)

Opting out

You can cancel SMS messages at any time by texting STOP. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program unless you opt in again. For help, text HELP or contact us at the phone or email above.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with FLOSYS and the businesses using our systems (up to several messages per week unless a conversation requires more). Messages in scope include missed-call follow-up, appointment reminders, booking confirmations, and customer-care updates.

Data retention

We retain messaging-related information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal/compliance obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of personal information we hold by emailing kirby@flosys.org, subject to legal retention requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

Our SMS program is intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 via SMS.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” above will be revised when we post changes. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes means you accept the updated policy.
